The Mission
Bringing Good News to the Thai people
A spiritually thirsty nation
Bangkok, the capital of Thailand is a city of sharp contrasts. It is a place where gleaming skyscrapers of glass and steel overlook ancient canal-side communities that haven’t changed in a century. It is a city of incredible kindness, yet it sits in the center of a spiritual desert.
Thailand is known globally as the "Land of Smiles," but beneath the surface lies a profound spiritual need. In this Buddhist nation of over 70 million people, Christians make up only about 0.5% of the population of ethnic Thais. In their spiritual thirst, Thais worship and ask blessings from thousands of different gods and spirits at temples and shrines found everywhere.
For the vast majority of Thais, the Gospel is not something they have rejected—it is something they have quite simply never heard. This is even after there have been Christian missionaries in the country for over 500 years already.
For half a millennium, the Gospel has also been perceived as a "foreign coat" that doesn't fit the Thai heart. This is not a failure of the Message, but a challenge in communication and trust. Thai worldview is a combination of Buddhism and animism which requires deep understanding for the Gospel to be understandably communicated.
The View from the Inside: Why I’m Here
I spent 17 years building a career in marketing and business design while simultaneously searching for the ultimate happiness in Eastern philosophies and Buddhist practice. After reaching a total burnout in 2020 I turned to Jesus, who turned out to be everything He said He was in the Bible. He gave me a new heart, new spirit and a new life. I then realized those years in rebellion weren't wasted — they gave me a "backstage pass" to the Buddhist mindset. God had been preparing me for His mission in Thailand all my life.
Today, I don’t approach Thailand as a Westerner bringing a foreign religion, but as a fellow traveler who found The Way out of suffering that Buddhists search for, and want to help my Thai neighbors find it too.
The three pillars of our work in Thailand
We are not here to import a foreign religion, but to help Thais encounter the living Jesus. Our work focuses on dismantling the idea that Christ is a Western God by equipping local believers with strategic digital tools and building a Christian company that demonstrates His love in the heart of the Thai marketplace and society. We want to empower Thais to reach their own nation.
The Kingdom Company
Our work centers on establishing a Kingdom-driven company in Bangkok, a strategy inspired by seeing how Christian organizations build deep community trust through living out the love of Jesus.
This model goes beyond providing simple aid; it provides livelihoods and paths for personal growth, alongside the salvation that only Jesus can offer. By operating a business, we integrate into the fabric of Thai society, allowing us to demonstrate the power and love of the Holy Spirit through our actions in the community. This builds the trust required for Thais to start stepping into the saving relationship with Christ, and become His active disciples.
Media & Strategic Development
Reaching 70 million Thai people with the Gospel in a rapidly urbanizing nation requires more than just traditional methods; it requires strategic development. God called me to use my 17-year background in marketing and service design to serve Christian organizations in Bangkok, helping them optimize their limited resources to reach larger audiences with their services.
Testifying to Buddhists
I studied and practiced Buddhism for years before I found the truth in Jesus and was saved by Him. I learned to understand how Buddhists view the world, life, and death. It differs from our Western worldview in critical ways, and we have to understand those differences if we want to deliver the Gospel to the Buddhist heart. Because of my experience of Buddhism, I am able to testify to them why Jesus is the only path to salvation.
